Senior Unisys COBOL Developer
Location: Albany, NY 12236
Duration: 2- 3 years Contract Position
Requirements
  • 84 months of COBOL programming experience.
  • 60 months experience with UNISYS DPS/TIP 2200 and UCS/ACSI Cobol.
  • 48 months' experience with UNISYS 2200 DMS (Cobol).
  • 48 months' experience with UNISYS OS 2200 EXEC/ECL.
  • 48 months' experience in system analysis and design and speaking with customers to clarify requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science related field
Responsibilities
Candidate will provide general system design, application programming, unit and integration testing of developed programs and documentation of those efforts. Programming tasks may include complete unit routines or functional routines that make up discrete parts of functional units. Programming will utilize structured COBOL.
  • nalysis, design and development of modifications for the WMS application using COBOL
  • Perform writing of database commands, procedures and subroutines on a UNISYS mainframe
  • nalysis, design and development of both online and batch programs
  • Work in coordination with the intra agency teams and customers to support the application and interfaces.
  • Perform unit testing and coordination of UAT and resolve deficiencies for retest.
  • nalysis and resolution of production issues relating to the application or the database.
