Job Summary:
The Coating Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining pharmaceutical coating equipment used in the tablet coating process. This includes ensuring adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, while optimizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor pharmaceutical coating equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare coating solutions and ensure proper documentation of all processes.
  • Perform in-process quality checks, including weight, thickness, and appearance of coated products.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  • Document activities accurately in batch records and logs.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas to meet industry hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production workflows.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in a technical field is a plus).
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing operations, preferably in tablet coating, is highly desirable.
