What You Can Expect

Join a dynamic team where you'll provide essential engineering services supporting either cellular manufacturing or logistical operations. This co-op is a hands-on opportunity to gain meaningful experience while delivering impactful results.

How You'll Create Impact

Your primary responsibility will be to support the deployment of Wonderware SCADA within a manufacturing cell. This includes:

  • Converting existing documentation
  • Executing equipment validations
  • Collaborating with IT and Operations to revise procedures
  • Creating new reference materials to train Operations personnel

Additional responsibilities include participating as part of the Cellular Operations team:

  • Supporting investigations and resolutions for non-conformances
  • Developing and executing equipment and process validations
  • Managing prototype order manufacturing for future validations
  • Leading at least one cost-reduction project within the manufacturing cell
  • Applying Six Sigma principles and using statistical methods via Minitab
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Working knowledge or formal education in drafting standards and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proven ability to take ownership of complex, high-scope projects
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Your Background
  • Actively enrolled in an academic program for the full duration of the assignment
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op term
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
  • Sophomore status or higher pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering science
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
  • Experience or coursework in Statistical Process Control; modeling software experience is a plus
