In addition to our Cool Springs showroom, we have a full wood production facility in Nashville that houses our offices and shop where we have state-of-the art equipment such as a CNC routers and airTec edgebanders. The Opportunity: California Closets Nashville is looking for friendly, service-oriented, customer- focused people with a passion for excellence and the desire to find a long-term work home. We offer professional training, skill enhancement and opportunities to advance toward machine operator, in-home installer, supervisor, and manager positions.

Position details:

  • Schedule: Full time, Monday- Friday, 6:30am-2pm - (could be earlier and later depending on the job)
  • Compensation: $50,000-$80,000 per year
  • Main duties:Load vans with parts and be at customer's home around 8am. Install organization system per CADPro drawings. Excellent trim carpenter skills and interpersonal communications.
  • Position requirements include:Valid Driver's License, Excellent communication abilities (verbal and written), extended periods of walking, standing, stooping and lifting up to 20-50 lbs consistently, willingness to cross-train, team player
  • Tools:You provide your own tools. Company provides blades and other consumables.
  • Vehicles: Company provides vehicles, maintenance, gas, insurance and logoed shirts. Candidate must supply your own footwear and khaki colored pants/shorts.

      Job Duties:

      • Perform skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, garages, and other spaces in customer's homes.
      • Utilize company provided CAD drawings\blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
      • Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
      • Assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
      • Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
      • Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
      • Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
      • Install materials safely and maintain safety standards at all times.
      • Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner
      • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
