Job description

CNC Milling Machinist
Pay Rate: $26-35 hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Hours: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm 
 
As a CNC Machinist- CNC Milling, you will set up, adjust, and operate a CNC Milling machine, including boring, drilling, tapping, and milling.  Change tooling, perform offsets, and change speeds and feeds required for machining different alloys.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, adjust, and operate a CNC Milling Machine.
  • Be fully knowledgeable in all phases of clamping and workholding utilizing a vertical and horizontal CNC Milling machine, including boring, Drilling, tapping, and milling.
  • Be familiar with G & M codes. 
  • Must be able to perform edits and offsets as required.
  • Must be familiar with different alloy materials and the tooling, speeds, and feeds required for machining the different alloys.
 
Requirements: 
  • Be able to set up and machine, including feeds, speeds, and tool selection, parts or weldments with complex machining requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, micrometers, and a ruler to produce parts.
  • Possess the math skills to calculate angles, diameters, and any other equations required to accomplish machining tasks.
  • Do routine oiling and/or lubrication as instructed by supervisor.
  • Have own tools that accommodate setup, deburring, tool changing, and measuring for all phases of operation.
