Job description

(Kenner, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Mechanic

Essential Duties:
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to support repair activities
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Calibrate and align machine components to ensure precision and efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently

Requirements/Skills:
• Proven experience as a CNC Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of CNC controls, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
