Title: CNC Machine Operator (1st and 2nd shift)

Reports To: Shop Supervisor and Operations Manager

Summary of Position:

Machine operators may operate various machine shop equipment, maximizing efficiency and accuracy of machine processes. Machines may include: Laser bed, router, break press, lathe, or mill.

Duties amp; Responsibilities

· Performs daily startup of machine shop equipment

· Troubleshoot machine performance issues

· Apply program to laser, maximizing efficiency of cuts and materials usage

· Track laser time for accurate job costing

· Maintain clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment

· Performs other routines duties as assigned by Supervisor, or operations manager

Required Skills amp; Experience

· Must be able to perform duties safely, accurately, and efficiently

· Must be able to read prints and drawings

· Basic language, math and reasoning ability skills are a must

· Must work safely, adhering to all company policies

· Must work well with others

· Good communication skills

· Ability to adhere to/administer company policy

· Self motivated
