Job Description:
Deploying Cisco CNC on VMware, designing network topologies, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. This role supports lab environments used for testing, validation, and demonstration of advanced networking solutions.
Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure Cisco Crosswork Network Controller (CNC) in VMware-based lab environments.
Design and implement network topologies for lab simulations and proof-of-concept setups.
Perform manual and remote reboot/recovery of routers and switches when devices are unreachable.
Troubleshoot network issues using diagnostic tools and logs; escalate as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of lab configurations, test cases, and results.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support lab testing and validation.
Automate lab tasks using scripting tools (Python, Bash, Ansible).
Ensure lab environments are secure, up-to-date, and aligned with production standards.

3-5 years of experience in network engineering or lab infrastructure roles.
Strong understanding of IP networking, routing protocols, and virtualization.
Hands-on experience with Cisco CNC, VMware ESXi, and Linux systems is preferred.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, ping, traceroute) is must.
