Job Description

We are seeking a machinist familiar with turning machines. Sets up and operates a variety of machines in machine shop, including but not limited to; milling, turning, drilling, grinding etc. Able to work to close tolerances working from drawings with little or no guidance.

Shift Hours: 10pm-6:15am

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines)

  • Load programs, install tooling, and set work offsets

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records

  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes

Experience & Education

  • Previous manufacturing experience (3+ years)
  • Willingness to learn
  • CNC programming experience (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)

  • Experience with tight tolerances and high-precision parts

  • Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials

  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

The range of pay for this role is $22 to $33 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Companys Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Companys 401(k) plan. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
