Job description

Summary

The CMMS System Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP software. This role involves managing system performance, troubleshooting issues, training users, and ensuring the CMMS meets the operational needs of the organization. The CMMS System Administrator works closely with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize maintenance processes and improve asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date CMMS master data, including equipment records, bill of materials (BOMs), spare parts, work requests, and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate upload of CMMS master data, ensuring data integrity and alignment with organizational standards
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for inventory optimization and CMMS process improvements
  • Add new and generate existing Preventative Maintenance as needed. Update PMs as required
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials for new and existing users
  • Create and maintain user accounts and roles
  • Import and export data as needed, ensuring accurate transfer of information
  • Develop and manage reporting tools to provide insights into maintenance activities and asset performance, identifying trends
  • Find opportunities for system improvements and work with vendors or IT to implement enhancements
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Prepare and present regular reports on system usage, performance metrics, and maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets associated with CMMS-related projects
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to integrate CMMS with other systems and tools
  • Manage the maintenance technical library, manuals and documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma and Associate degree preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft, excel and word systems
  • Previous experience in a planning/scheduling function preferred
  • Experience with work orders and CMMS/EAM systems in a web based computer applications

The salary range for this full-time position is$29.50-$42.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
