  • Current or previous Gulfstream type rating
  • G500/G550/G600/G650 experience
  • Extensive Part 91 corporate aviation experience
  • International and long-range operations experience
  • Experience supporting executive, VIP, or high-net-worth clientele
  • Experience with complex international trip planning and operations
  • Strong CRM and threat-and-error management skills

THE FLIGHTPATH STANDARD

We are looking for more than flight hours and qualifications. The right candidate will embody the standards expected of a premier private aviation operation.

Airmanship

Consistently sound decision-making, disciplined cockpit management, and an uncompromising approach to safety.

Leadership

The ability to lead a professional flight crew while fostering an environment of communication, respect, and accountability.

Adaptability

The ability to operate confidently in a dynamic international environment with changing schedules, destinations, and operational requirements.

CAPTAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume command responsibility for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550
  • Ensure all flights are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, company procedures, and established safety standards
  • Conduct comprehensive flight planning and operational risk assessments
  • Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, aircraft performance, fuel requirements, routing, alternates, and international operating requirements
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of the aircraft and its systems
  • Lead and effectively manage the flight crew
  • Maintain a high standard of aircraft presentation and operational readiness
  • Provide discreet, polished, and personalized service to passengers
  • Coordinate effectively with maintenance, operations, ground support, and other company personnel

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is an experienced corporate captain who is technically strong, calm under pressure, highly professional, and exceptionally service-oriented. You should be equally comfortable managing a complex international operation, making conservative operational decisions, leading a crew, and interacting professionally with discerning passengers. If you take pride in meticulous preparation, exceptional airmanship, and delivering a level of service consistent with the Gulfstream brand, we would like to hear from you.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
