Job description

Position Objectives:ย ย 

This position will supervise the aircraft cabin cleaning team at the San Francisco Airport, assisting the Aircraft Cabin Cleaning Lead, reporting to the Cabin Service Manager, and ensuring the cabin cleaning operations run smoothly.ย 

  • People: Supports the Cabin Service Manager, Aircraft Cabin Cleaning Lead, and Cabin Cleaning team.ย 
  • Process:ย  Maintains consistent, efficient processes to deliver seamless support to all team membersย ย 
  • Profit: A healthy team naturally provides exceptional service, reduces turnover, and provides a surplus that we can invest in further growth and shared learning.ย 

Requirements

Operational Executionย ย 

  • Ownership of the operational service delivery to ensure contractual obligations are being met for the assigned shifts and teams.ย ย 
  • Assist the manager with the new-hire processย 
  • Utilize monthly schedules to ensure shifts are full staffed and able to deliver exceptional service.ย ย 
  • Manage the stock of cleaning materials and place orders when needed.ย 
  • Must be able to work SJC shifts five days a week (the number of days may vary depending on the flight schedule).ย 
  • Needs to drive a van for the team.ย 
  • Conduct pre-operation and post-operation briefings to discuss daily plans with the team, addressing any questions, plans for contingencies, and discuss lessons learned.ย 
  • Monitor the delivery of services, delegate responsibilities, coordinate team members to support areas of greatest need, and remove roadblocks for team members.ย ย 
  • When issues arise during the operation, gather relevant information, identify the correct course of action, and be the decision maker to help customers and team members overcome challenges.ย 
  • Hold team members accountable to operational service standards, security requirements, safety practices, and airport regulationsย 
  • Confirm with team members that all operational documentation has been properly completed and submitted after each flight.ย

  • Ownership of the administration responsibilities and duties to effectively manage the various shiftsย
