CMM Programmer/Operator

Pay Range $20-$22 hourly based on skills and experience

Essential Functions:
  • Program and operate CMMs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar) to inspect complex metal parts and assemblies.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop accurate measurement routines.
  • Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections.
  • Analyze measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve dimensional issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for CMM equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, and customer-specific quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CMM programming and operation within a metal fabrication or precision machining environment.
  • Proficiency in CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
