Job description

Manual Machinist - Night Shift 20% Differential Pay

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Shift: Night shift - 20% Differential Pay

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Key Responsibilities:

•Setup and operate manual equipment (mills, lathes, surface and cylindrical grinders, drill presses) to machine metallic or composite parts to aerospace tolerances

•Interpret assembly drawings, GD&D specifications and blueprints, design, fabricate, and set customer fixtures and tooling

•Perform precise inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, or optical comparators, ensuring part compliance

•Collaborate with engineering to refine machining methods, offer feedback on manufacturability, update control data

•Adhere to ISO AS9100 standards, ITAR protocols, PPE use, and logout/tagout

•Maintain clean and organized work areas; ensure proper use and care of equipment and tools

•Support continuous improvement activities related to machining processes and workflow

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
  • Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand majority of the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
