We support 100% remote work for this role!
We'd love to hear from you if:
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch.
As the Ad Operations Specialist, CM360 & Ad Serving, you play a crucial role in owning the technical backbone of trafficking, tagging, and measurement across our omnichannel digital media campaigns. Serving as our hands-on-keys platform expert in Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), you will lead the execution of ad serving, strategic Floodlight architecture, and cross-platform verification to ensure flawless delivery and accurate measurement. You will operate independently with minimal supervision, using your specialized ad tech expertise alongside a strong understanding of media buying workflows to partner with cross-functional teams, solve complex technical tracking challenges, and safeguard data integrity
As the Ad Operations Specialist, CM360 & Ad Serving, you will:
  • Campaign Trafficking & Execution: Lead the end-to-end trafficking process within CM360, including placement creation, creative assignment, tag generation, and tracking ad delivery across video (VAST/VPAID), display, and rich media formats.
  • Account Architecture & Floodlights: Manage strategic CM360 account setups, advanced Floodlight configurations (custom u-variables, conversion tracking, cross-domain rules), and naming taxonomy to align with client business and measurement goals.
  • Google Platform Integration & Measurement: Drive seamless integration across the Google Marketing Platform stack-connecting CM360, DV360, GA4, and GTM-establishing efficient data flows and building reporting that directly links ad serving performance to client KPIs and cross-channel attribution.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Media Investment, Creative, Analytics, and Client Services to enforce trafficking lead times, asset specs, and tracking requirements ahead of every campaign launch
  • DSP & Ad Tech Integration: Support cross-platform execution between CM360 and major DSPs (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk), ensuring proper macro placement, placement wrapping, and impression reconciliation across platforms.
  • Technical QA & Troubleshooting: Utilize web debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) to inspect tag firing, resolve creative rendering bugs, fix click-through/impression macro issues, and reconcile tracking discrepancies.
  • Verification & Brand Safety: Oversee the implementation of 3rd-party verification tags (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify) to enforce brand safety, fraud mitigation, and viewability standards across campaigns.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Stay informed on evolving cookie policies, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and browser changes to adapt tagging structures and Floodlight tracking appropriately.
  • Process Improvement & Enablement: Identify workflow bottlenecks to streamline trafficking tasks, while guiding less experienced team members on CM360 best practices and QA standards to codify team processes.

Professional Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of hands-on digital ad operations experience, with primary expertise in Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • Hands-on experience managing site tag implementations (Google Tag Manager/GTM, container setups, site-side tag auditing) alongside advanced CM360 Floodlight architecture and 3rd-party verification tools (IAS, DoubleVerify).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the broader Google Marketing Platform ecosystem, with experience connecting and optimizing integration points between CM360, DV360, and Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with demand-side platforms like DV360 and The Trade Desk.
  • Comfortable working with front-end code (HTML, JavaScript), rich media specs, and video ad protocols (VAST/VPAID).
  • Working knowledge of digital privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and their operational impact on tagging and measurement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, filtering, pivot tables) for mass tag management, taxonomy auditing, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities against tight campaign launch deadlines.

Competencies:
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Aptitude for diagnosing broken tags, macro errors, and cross-platform discrepancies using browser developer tools and proxy software.
  • Google Ecosystem Expertise: Deep understanding of how Google's ad tech and analytics platforms connect, transfer data, and operate together to drive operational efficiency.
  • Data & Measurement Hygiene: Meticulous attention to detail regarding naming conventions, URL parameters, custom variables, and QA checks.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex technical trafficking, tagging, and measurement requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: A self-starter who adopts new platform features quickly, stays ahead of industry changes, and proactively improves operational workflows.

The hiring salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus.
Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits, incentive pay, and equity upon request. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
