Loan Originator (Full Time) – Pensacola, FL Area
  • Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Days and times of work may vary.
JOB DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for loan origination and relationship management (builders, borrowers, operations and realtors).
  • Originate Captive (home builder clients) and Non-Captive Loans including providing weekend coverage in builder communities.
  • Build successful partnership with homebuilder Sales Reps through calling on Sales Agents and attending Builder Sales Meetings.
  • Develop non-Captive Loan business through leveraging relationships established via Captive business through offering loan origination services to Realtors, asking for referrals from homebuyers, and following up with prospects who do not purchase builder homes.
  • Educate, train and market to prospective business sources (captive and non-captive) via sales presentations and sales calls.
  • Prepare prospective applicants for the initial loan application meeting.
  • Obtain required signatures on the Loan Application, and submit file through Automated Underwriting System
  • Review all documentation provided by borrower, check for accuracy and address any issues up-front. Manage Pipeline from loan application to closing.
  • Assist in resolving post-closing/funding related issues. Constant communication with borrower throughout loan process is a must.
JOB REQUIREMENTS amp; SKILLS
  • Florida Mortgage Loan Originator License (NMLS) required
  • Prefer at least 3 years’ lending experience.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Ability to maintain a “Customer is the Most Important” focus.
  • Residency in one of the following states is a requirement for the position: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
