Otterbein Senior Life has an opening for a fulltime, salaried IT Generalist/Field Technician. This position is located at Otterbein SeniorLife in Lebanon, OH. The candidate will perform general maintenance and end user support tasks as well as analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware & peripheral equipment, both remotely and on-site. The position will do frequent travel to all Otterbein sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Center – respond to calls, emails & tickets to resolve end user issues through remote or hands-on support
  • Repair, rebuild, prepare & deploy new equipment as needed, including end user equipment such as computers & phones, as well as enterprise equipment such as firewalls, switches, access points & UPS units
  • Resolve dial tone & other phone system issues
  • Documentation – Inventory, Support Center, Hardware, Software
  • Support organization-wide Hikvision Camera System
  • Support organization-wide server-based Nurse & Emergency Call Systems
  • Collaborate with others to assess, design, implement, troubleshoot, monitor & improve the organization's network & technology as the organization grows

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting the I/T needs for multiple locations
  • Customer 1st Mentality
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of products, including Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge & working experience with Active Directory
  • Knowledge & working experience with Microsoft Windows O/S
  • Knowledge of network cabling
  • Cisco VoIP experience
  • Organized and Detail Oriented
  • A+ certification (additional I/T related certification is a plus)
  • BS degree with an I/T or business related major or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Office365, working in a hybrid environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders & maneuver in cramped IT closets
  • Strong written, verbal & interpersonal communications skills as well as an ability to work well independently & in a team environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel (locally or regionally)
