Job description

Job Title: Hematology Oncology Physician
Join an esteemed community-based hospital program in Davenport, IA, at the Genesis Cancer Care Institute, accredited by the NAPBC and NQMBC. Our team comprises 4 Oncologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners dedicated to providing comprehensive care. With clinics located in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa, and Silvis, Illinois, the facility boasts leading technology and collaborative services for radiation oncology, genetic testing, clinical trials, and infusion resources.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and consultations primarily at Genesis Medical Center-Davenport, IA.
  • Participate in shared call duties.
  • Cover Iowa locations: Davenport and Clinton offices.
  • Work in collaboration with a physician-led medical group focused on wellness and work-life balance.
  • Build your own practice while maintaining a cohesive team environment with hospitalist support.
  • Engage in the department's initiatives as they pertain to patient care and clinical services.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible (within 3 years of Residency) in Hematology.
  • Board Eligible (within 3 years of Residency) in Medical Oncology.
  • Active Iowa and Illinois licenses or willingness to obtain.
  • Recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) required.
  • DEA Verbal Confirmation or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • CSR/CDA or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Clean malpractice preferred; no pending malpractice cases.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Active Board Certification or Board Eligible status in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • DEA Certification.
  • Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDA).
