Job Summary:

Zest is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager. This individual is an operator who has scaled multi-state clinical infrastructure inside a high-growth organization without sacrificing quality or compliance. You'll own the systems, workflows, and tracking infrastructure that keep our provider network compliant, credentialed, and ready to see patients. This role directly enables Zest's growth sitting at the intersection of network management, quality and compliance.

You will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and work closely with our Partner Success team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Multi-state licensure: managing licensure for MDs, NPs, and PAs across jurisdictions
  • Credentialing and privileging: end-to-end credentialing workflows, payer enrollment, and ongoing monitoring
  • Partnership readiness: provider and entity readiness for on-time partnership implementation; own capacity planning and forecasting

Provide Operational Support:

  • PC entity management: operational requirements of professional corporation entities across states
  • Clinical quality: maintaining and maturing quality programs; audit readiness; payer and partner requirement
  • Clinical hiring support: partnering on recruiting and onboarding clinical team members; ensuring new providers are operationally ready to see patients

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in clinical operations, credentialing, or provider operations - ideally in a multi-state telehealth, value-based care, or digital health environment
  • Experience at a seed-to-Series A company
  • Direct experience scaling licensure and credentialing for MDs, NPs, and PAs simultaneously
  • Familiarity with PC entity structures and the operational requirements that come with them
  • Detail-oriented, systems thinker who can build a process, document it, and actually get people to follow it

What This Is Not:

Not hospital credentialing. Not a generalist ops role. We need direct experience scaling multi-state licensure and credentialing - not transferable experience from a different domain.
