Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to help lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to oversee daily clinical operations, support staff development, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department
  • Oversee clinical care delivery within the assigned unit
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions when needed
  • Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility policies
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for residents, families, and staff regarding care concerns
  • Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and resident-centered care

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous leadership or management experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
