Job Summary
The Commercial Lines Client Account Manager is responsible for meeting the marketing, service, and quality standards of Choice Insurance, A Vizance Company. This role works closely with the Insurance Advisors in developing an ongoing people first relationship with clients by supporting and advising sales, policy changes and claims.
This role is full-time onsite at our Eagan, MN location.
Core Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support
  • Assist Client Account Executives, Team Leads, and Insurance Advisors managing books of business between $300,000-$600,000 revenue.
  • Maintains orderly electronic files and information in accordance with agency standards
  • Pre-qualifies and analyzes future customer client needs while recommending coverage, as needed to meet the clients needs.
  • Supports Insurance Advisors in onboarding new clients, collecting required information, generating documents, assisting in claim reporting, and recommending additional coverage as needed
  • Verifies accuracy and coverage adequacy of policies, requests changes to correct errors as needed
  • Independently manages workflow to ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing of transactions and renewals

Client Service and Retention
  • Promotes customer retention by providing outstanding customer service by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships
  • Remarkets accounts as needed
  • Secures quotes for new business opportunities

Professional Development & Leadership
  • Helps support mentoring and training new individuals as needed
  • Offers transactional assistance to Commercial Lines Support Staff
  • Keeps informed of industry and new product information, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge base
  • Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperates positively and provides information and guidance, as needed, to contribute to the business efforts of the agency.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by agency management.

Requirements
  • 2-year Degree in related field of study, 4-year degree preferred or 4 years combination of education and/or insurance experience
  • Current Property & Casualty Licensing
  • Well versed and has knowledge of accounting regulations, standard concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Assists and administers departmental projects including process improvement, procedure creation and implementation.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in one or more functional areas of the department.
  • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Works under general supervision

Salary Description
$28-36 per hour
