Job description

What You'll Do 

The main function of this role will be to review data received from Strive clients and determine if the data is complete and accurate. If the data is not complete and accurate, the Senior Analyst will quantify the impact of imperfect data and work with the client to resolve the issues. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Actuarial. We offer a competitive Actuarial Study Program designed to help you succeed, including exam fee support, study resources, and rewards for passing exams and achieving actuarial credentials.

The Day to Day 

  • Review contracts to find instances of client non-compliance, and quantify the value of said non-compliance
  • Audit the data we receive for our risk partnerships and ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Review material changes impacting risk settlements and quantify the impact 
  • Communicate instances of non-compliance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Strive's Finance, Client Success, and Growth functions to identify data-driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners.
  • Present models and delivers insights/expertise to a diverse audience and communicates analyses and results to internal and external partners. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum three completed actuarial exams
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.  
  • Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience applying or reviewing medical claim grouper logic
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in value-based care preferred.
  • Experience with CMS shared savings programs strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Commercial, Medicaid or Medicare analysis.
  • Experience using advanced Microsoft Excel functions and SQL.

Annual Salary Range: $85,500 - $104,000.  This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 10%
