Client Service Associate

Hilltop Securities is currently looking to hire a Client Service Associate to support its Independent Network (HTIN) brokerage firm. Hilltop Securities Inc., a member of the FINRA and SIPC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings. Hilltop Securities Independent Network (HTIN) is a brokerage firm, which provides a home for independent registered representatives. We offer and support a broad range of customer services, including self-directed IRA accounts, research recommendations, and trust and money management services. We are looking to hire a Client Service Associate, and the qualified candidate will work for several financial advisors. This position will assist in servicing a large client base that is continually growing and provide remote, scalable and compliant administrative and client-service support to independent registered representatives to enhance client experience, reduce administrative burden, and improve operational consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to assigned Registered Representative(s) including, client onboarding and account opening, preparing and reviewing client documents, handling client account maintenance requests, assisting with marketing and client and prospect presentations.
  • Maintain customer account information including updating files and records and handling written correspondence.
  • Address client service problems and maintain Problem/Solution Log to keep Registered Representative(s) aware of service problems.
  • Operational workflows - CRM task management, scheduling, follow-ups, general client service support.
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Desire to become Registered Sales Assistant by obtaining Series 7 and 63 a plus.
  • 1 to 2 years of front desk and operational experience preferred.
  • Should possess clear and professional verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, with an emphasis in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service skills while being detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel within the organization.
  • Must be able to prioritize and handle time-sensitive transactions and strong decision making skills.
  • Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
