Vice President, Client Operations - CLO/Structured Debt

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Operations - CLO/Structured Debt to join our Structured Debt Client Platform within Client Operations and Reporting.

This role is located in Houston, Texas.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead support for major external clients by resolving complex operational and technical issues, ensuring requests are executed, and directing clients to appropriate resources at BNY.
  • Apply advanced problem-solving skills, judgment, and experience to analyze complex information and deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base, resolving the most complex or non-routine inquiries.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of BNY products and services across lines of business and geographies to proactively identify client needs, contribute to business development efforts, and propose expanded offerings for front-office consideration.
  • Participate in and lead internal initiatives to improve the client experience, develop process improvements based on client service best practices, and support multiple complex client accounts.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Typically, 7-12 years of experience.
  • Relevant client service/operations experience in financial services preferred.
  • Corporate Trust and CLO/CDO backgrounds preferred.
  • SOLVAS experience preferred.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in finance/accounting, compliance/reporting, and reconciliation; ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams; thorough understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and providing guidance to less experienced team members.
