As Relationship Officer, you will play a key role in

  • managing and retaining existing customers and cultivating new relationships with customers to expand East West Bankโ€™s customer base to grow assets, loans, and deposits.
  • working with internal business partners to facilitate the connection to customers to help them with specialized financial needs.

  • Achieve quarterly/annual goals through business generation of mortgages, SBA, treasury management, deposits, investments, and international and other commercial and consumer products offered through East West Bank
  • Understand clientโ€™s financial needs, identify strategies to create cross sell opportunities and provide need-based products to customers.
  • Efficiently manages time and is result driven
  • Expert in using digital resources and technologies to optimize clientsโ€™ digital banking experience and possess the aptitude to learn new programs
  • Educate customers on how to use digital platforms to bank and invest when, where and how they want
  • Must be flexible in working hours
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or business relevant associate degree such as business management, admin or finance preferred
  • 3+ years in consultative relationship sales role in a related industry with proven sales track record
  • In-depth knowledge of banks, credit and deposit products; experience in international cross border activities between U.S. and Greater China preferred
  • Strong sales and service skills including prospecting and networking.
  • Proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results
  • Strong financial acumen and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Able to manage client concerns
  • Has the ability to learn and adapt to latest information and technology platforms
  • Strong desire and capability to influence, educate and connect team, partners, and customers to technology
  • Professional working proficiency in Marndarin is a plus
