The Project Manager (Electrical) Position 

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects safely, on budget, and on schedule while complying with company, client, and union requirements. This includes maintaining a zero lost-time accident record through strict adherence to safety programs, managing construction budgets to ensure positive cash flow and profitability, and planning field labor productivity above a 1.00 index through a structured preconstruction handoff process. The role also requires ensuring compliance with the CPM schedule by effectively managing vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, maintaining accurate project documentation using CRM Software and PlanGrid, and coordinating manpower forecasts with field leadership and local unions to meet project milestones. 

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Project Manager (Electrical) Position 

  • 2-4 years of Electrical Project Management experience is required 
  • A Journeyman’s license is required, with a Master Electrician license preferred 
  • Experience with electrical estimating software is required; McCormick is preferred 
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes 
  • Working knowledge of electrical installations
