Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Program Manager to provide management responsibilities for various client programs and projects for a Federal Client in Honolulu, HI

This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering a group of projects or one major project from conceptual stages through all phases of the projects, with the assistance of the project team.
  • Responsible for overall performance of the project team and takes the lead in reporting and ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications.
  • Reviews contracts, scope documents, and available data for the project, and establishes schedules and budgets for compliance with project scope requirements and contract obligations.
  • Takes leadership initiative in working with internal team members, and client departments including cost/scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, construction, contracts, legal, labor relations, finance, accounting and other services and departments as required to successfully manage projects.
  • Provides an integrated project team approach in working with designers, contractors and governing agencies.
  • - Reviews and comments on design submissions, change orders, and contracts/sub-contracts, and represent the client interests to ensure control of and validate change orders are current, fair and efficiently processed.
  • Reviews comments received from governing agencies on behalf of the client and coordinates timely resolutions.
  • Responsible to proactively monitor critical project milestone dependencies, and track actions which may result in risks to critical project milestones.
  • Reviews project key performance indicators and forecasts any modifications to schedules, cost estimates, and financial reports,and effectively reconciles risks to commitments that may exceed assigned schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinates communications, stakeholder contacts and maintains good working relationships.
  • Monitors and controls contractual commitments to assure work being performed is in accordance with the specifications and terms of the contracts.
  • Reviews builder submittals and RFI documents, and provides field surveillance to ensure specified quality of design.
  • Conducts project coordination and client meetings as necessary to review progress and discuss upcoming work.
  • Works with stakeholders to negotiate and resolve conflicts, disputes, and potential claims on behalf of the client.
  • Responsible for leading a construction management team to deliver capital construction projects for US Federal Government clients.
  • Development of the Project Execution Plan.
  • Management and coordination of Project Managers, Project Controls Team, and Construction personnel
  • Coordination of design work with the Design Manager.
  • Project to Asset Handover.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Experience in with Federal Contacts/Programs,

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree, PMP , experience in similar role on programs valued >$5M., 
  • CCM, PE, RA
  • 15+ Years of Experience + Federal experience
