Job description

The Bilingual Supplier & Client Account Manager will support the Commercial Sales and Logistics teams. Reporting to the VP Commercial, the role collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Quality Assurance, Billing, and Logistics to ensure supply continuity, product quality, and the efficient execution of commercial activities.


This is a remote position with regular travel requirements, including attendance at trade shows, visits to company sites, and meetings with prospective and existing clients. The role also requires an in-office presence at the Toronto office for approximately four days each month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and company plants through regular interaction, including site visits, client meetings, and participation in industry trade shows.
  • Support business development initiatives within the assigned area, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
  • Work with Billing and Transportation teams to ensure accurate invoicing, pricing validation, and inventory valuation.
  • Establish sales agreements with customers and develop strategies to expand business activity.
  • Partner with Operations Management to monitor raw material quality and supply chain performance.
  • Represent the company in supplier negotiations, including contracts and policy alignment.
  • Resolve customer or contractor issues, including grievances and claims.
  • Travel as required to meet with prospective clients, attend industry events, and support commercial growth initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial experience in import/export or sales within the food/meat industry.
  • Strong understanding of import business, particularly meat or fish products.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and suppliers.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently, including for trade shows and client meetings.
