Client Executive, P&C – Job Description


Position Summary

The Client Executive is responsible for leading risk management strategies for existing client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact while delivering exceptional service in partnership with Sales Executives, Client Managers, and Account Managers. This role combines strategic advisory and hands-on execution, analyzing risk, coverage, and program structure while recommending and implementing solutions that align with client needs and organizational goals. The role supports growth through client retention, cross-selling, and proactive risk management while contributing to a collaborative, team-based service model.


Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Ownership

·       Lead risk management strategy and serve as primary advisor for assigned client relationships

·       Own client account strategy, including coverage design, program structure, and renewal planning

·       Act as subject matter expert on Property & Casualty solutions and market options

·       Partner with internal stakeholders to align client strategies with business objectives

Hands-On Execution & Delivery

·       Analyze risk exposures, coverage, and program structures and recommend tailored solutions

·       Execute coverage changes and implement program updates

·       Prepare and present renewal strategies, market summaries, and coverage analyses

·       Educate clients on insurance solutions and explain coverage terms and options clearly

Reporting, Quality & Operational Support

·       Review carrier proposals and ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables

·       Maintain high-quality client documentation and renewal materials

·       Ensure timelines, deliverables, and service standards are consistently met

·       Maintain confidentiality of client and business information

Cross-Functional Partnership & Integration

·       Collaborate with Sales Executives, Client Managers, and Account Managers to deliver cohesive service

·       Partner with Employee Benefits and other practice groups to cross-sell solutions

·       Support seamless onboarding and transition of new clients to service teams

·       Provide backup support to team members as needed

Growth, Change & Special Initiatives

·       Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and sell additional lines of coverage

Qualifications

Required

·       Prior insurance sales experience in an agency setting

·       Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 60 days

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively
