Job description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a high-profile, critical initiative on behalf of a major global biotechnology leader. This individual will serve as the core coordinator driving the end-to-end delivery of a high-impact patient portal built on an enterprise brand site.

Operating at the intersection of clinical strategy and digital execution, you will coordinate directly with the client’s Patient Services team while managing the output and deliverables of an external development agency.

This is a high-visibility, senior-level consultancy role requiring an immediate impact. From day one, you will be expected to establish structure, define the day-to-day operational plan, and manage complex stakeholder dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the project lifecycle for a complex patient portal build, ensuring seamless execution across matrixed teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for managing the output, timelines, and technical deliverables of an external web development agency.
  • Act as the strategic bridge between technical development teams and the client's internal Patient Services business units.
  • Define, implement, and run the daily project plan, stand-ups, risk logs, and milestone tracking from day one.
  • Manage expectations and reporting for senior leadership

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager leading complex, large-scale web development projects within enterprise environments.
  • Significant experience navigating the Life Sciences, Pharma, or Healthcare sectors: A deep understanding of the unique compliance, privacy, and operational nuances of this ecosystem is highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience managing the design, architecture, or deployment of Patient Portals or patient-facing digital products is exceptionally highly valued.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade content management systems and digital experience platforms (specifically Adobe Experience Cloud/AEP environments) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to enter a complex, fast-moving project environment and immediately deliver a structured, day-to-day operational roadmap.

Logistics & Contract Details

  • Contract Duration: Initial term through to December 31, 2026 (with potential for extension)
  • Location & Delivery Model: Hybrid/On-Site.
