Salary range: $102,600 - $128,300

Overview

The Sustainability Project Manager supports sustainability value creation across Agropur’s dairy value chain through cross‑functional collaboration and project management. The role works with commercial, supply chain, and sustainability teams to implement initiatives, support customer and industry commitments, measure performance, and advance sustainability outcomes with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives focused on key environmental, economic, and social sustainability topics impacting the dairy industry.
  • Manage sustainability commitments and customer engagement initiatives within global workstreams, focusing on supply chain collaboration and value chain emissions performance.
  • Partner with Category, Sales, and Operations teams to support strategy implementation, planning, communication, and alignment with customer and business needs.
  • Develop and maintain tools, metrics, and reporting processes to evaluate, measure, and monitor sustainability performance across the value chain.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance initiatives, support business cases and ROI assessments, and contribute to industry partnerships and knowledge sharing.
  • Build relationships with Category VPs, Business Unit Presidents, and Operations Leaders.
  • Make recommendations to senior management on ways to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the food industry, business development, client relations, or project management.
  • Knowledge of sustainability objectives, goals, and programming within the food industry.
  • Understanding of P&L, end‑to‑end business development, and sales processes.
  • Customer‑/consumer‑oriented mindset.
  • Project management skills from concept to execution.
  • Partnership management and proactive problem‑solving skills for marketing and sales environments.
