Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Remediation Project Manager, in Wisconsin to lead delivery for key clients while making a positive impact in local communities. This hybrid role (office and remote), offers you the opportunity to collaborate across multiple projects and accounts to achieve strategic objectives. The position includes both internal and external facing responsibilities, allowing you to apply and futher develop managerial and client development skills. In this role, the selected candidate will also assist/lead project and program management with design and implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preperation.
Key Responsibilities
• Overseeing the preparation of work plans and organizing project studies.
• Interfacing directly with technical project managers and project teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Understanding and incorporating client requirements in the management of projects, including commercial contract terms, change management processes, financial performance KPIs, etc.
• Using client and AECOM-prescribed tools to track and manage financial aspects of projects.
• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet budgetary objectives, while adjusting project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Wisconsin state regulatory requirements and environmental standards is preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field, and 4+ years of relavant environmental remediation experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Sponsorship is not avaliable at this time or in the future for this position.
  • This role is subject to a background check and motor vehicle records check (valid driver's license required).

Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 years of experience in site investigation and remediation.
  • 5 years of project management experience delivering environmental projects for public- and/or private-sector clients, including managing budgets, schedules and client relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and financial tracking systems.
  • Professional certification/registration preferred (e.g., PE, PG, PMP, CEng).
  • Proven success managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and financial KPIs across multi-site or complex programs.
  • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, scheduling staff/resources, and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
