Job description

Description
Tradesmen International is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to grow and manage an assigned sales territory in the construction staffing industry. This is an outside sales role: you'll be in the field daily, building relationships with commercial construction clients, generating new business, and growing existing accounts. Uncapped commission means your earning potential grows directly with your results.
Founded in 1992, Tradesmen International is a leader in skilled trades staffing and labor consulting, built on a culture of Safety, Productivity, and Craftsmanship.
What You'll Do
  • Prospect, cold call, and canvass within your assigned territory to generate new business and grow current accounts
  • Make direct sales calls and presentations to contractors, facility managers, and HR managers at their place of business
  • Educate prospects and clients on the value of a skilled, variable workforce and how it improves productivity and profitability
  • Partner closely with our internal Project Coordinators to communicate client staffing needs and ensure the right craftworkers are matched to each order
  • Maintain and exceed quarterly sales goals and growth targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with client senior management, office personnel, and jobsite superintendents
  • Manage the full client lifecycle: registration, onboarding, ongoing satisfaction checks, and issue resolution
  • Support field employees by preparing them for assignments, checking in after dispatch, and maintaining visibility into jobsite placements
  • Track sales activity and maintain client records in Salesforce CRM
  • Attend trade association events and networking functions to build industry relationships
  • Collect on outstanding invoices and support timely payment cycles

What You Bring
  • 1+ year of experience in outside sales, territory sales, or B2B sales (construction or staffing industry experience a plus)
  • Proven experience cold calling, canvassing a territory, and generating new business leads
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Regular and predictable attendance - this is an office and field based role

Why Tradesmen International
Tradesmen International is committed to supporting our employees with a comprehensive benefits package including:
  • Annual salary with uncapped commission
  • Monthly auto reimbursement
  • Company matched 401(k)
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Short-term disability
  • Voluntary supplemental life insurance

Your territory. Your grind. Your earnings. Join a sales team that's proud to power and support the skilled workforce building America.
