Job description

Description:

About Us

Canopy Management Group is an accredited Association Management Company (AMC) based in Springfield, MA. We partner with associations, nonprofits, professional societies, and member organizations to provide customized operational and strategic support that helps industries and communities thrive.

Our work is relationship-driven, collaborative, and intentionally personalized. We support organizations across a wide range of industries by helping strengthen member engagement, leadership development, education, events, communications, and operations.

At Canopy, we believe strong communities create stronger organizations and industries. We build long-term partnerships with the clients we serve and work closely with leadership, volunteers, and members to create meaningful impact.

We’re a collaborative team that values curiosity, accountability, quality, continuous growth, and community-building. Every team member contributes to the relationships and support structures that help our clients succeed.

What You’ll Do as Communications Coordinator

In this role, you’ll build an understanding of your clients – their audiences, goals, and the communities they serve – and help bring their communications to life. You’ll support efforts that strengthen connections, engage members, and move each organization’s work forward.

You’ll create and coordinate a variety of communications, from emails and newsletters to website updates and campaign materials, while helping manage projects across multiple clients. You’ll partner closely with teammates, clients, and volunteer leaders to ensure everything is clear, organized, and aligned with each organization’s voice.

No two days are the same- you might be planning a content calendar, drafting a campaign, or supporting event communications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing creativity and organization in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment.

Who Is the Perfect Candidate for This Role?

You may currently work in communications, marketing, membership services, public relations, or client services and are looking for a role where you can contribute more strategically, build stronger relationships, and work on a broader variety of projects.

You enjoy balancing creativity with organization. You’re proactive, thoughtful, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others, and take ownership of your work.

You’re someone who naturally thinks beyond the immediate task, considering how communications support engagement, strengthen communities, and help organizations achieve long-term goals.

Most importantly, you enjoy relationship-driven work and want to be part of a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and meaningful partnership.
