Matter Family Office is seeking an Associate – Client Service to support the delivery of comprehensive wealth management services to client families. This role is highly collaborative, focused on executing client work plans, coordinating across internal teams, and delivering high-quality financial planning and investment support.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Relationship Support

  • Support day-to-day client service activities and respond to client inquiries
  • Coordinate with Directors and Partners to execute client work plans
  • Maintain strong relationships with client families through consistent communication and follow-up

Financial Planning & Wealth Coordination

  • Prepare financial plans, projections, and periodic client updates
  • Research and help implement wealth strategies across investments, insurance, estate planning, and cash flow
  • Assist in coordinating planning efforts across multiple service areas
  • Monitor accounts and cash positions to support client objectives

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Delegate and review work from junior team members
  • Provide mentorship and support to developing team members
  • Contribute to firm initiatives, projects, and process improvements
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services with client-facing responsibilities
  • Experience in financial planning, wealth coordination, or multi-disciplinary advisory environments
  • Strong understanding of investments, estate planning, insurance, and cash flow management
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with strong academic performance
  • CFP, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA preferred
  • Experience working with high-net-worth or family office clients is a plus
