Job description

Product Manager - Water Management Programs

Position Summary

The Product Manager - Water Management Programs is responsible for the ASHRAE 188/514 Water Management Program (WMP) offering as it evolves from a people-driven service to a tech-enabled solution delivered through phiAnalytics. This role balances two connected mandates: partnering in the phiAnalytics product development process, translating service expertise and regulatory requirements into platform capabilities and owning core parts of the service offering, including pricing and asset development.

Responsibilities

Pricing & Offering Management: Own pricing structure and packaging for the WMP offering and define how the offering evolves as capabilities shift from manual facilitation to platform orchestration.

Asset Development:Develop and maintain client-facing and internal assets, including program templates, documentation, sales enablement, and training content.

Market & Offering Strategy:Monitor the regulatory and competitive landscape and adjust the offering accordingly. Support evaluation of potential future offerings to inform go/no-go decisions.

phiAnalytics Product Development:Shape the WMP-related portions of the phiAnalytics roadmap and translate regulatory requirements and service workflows into clear product requirements. Partner with the development team through the build process, including requirement clarification, prioritization input, and user acceptance testing. Use AI tools to drive efficiency in design, prototyping, and requirements development.

Launch & Rollout:Coordinate the rollout plan for new features and initiatives requiring formal launch and defining readiness, sequencing, and go-live - and partner with Marketing Communications, Training, and Account Management on execution. Track adoption and feed learnings back into the roadmap.

Cross-Functional Support:Serve as the subject-matter bridge between the service delivery and product organizations. Support sales and account management on offering scope and capabilities, and occasionally develop and deliver presentations for webinars, trade shows, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience defining and delivering software-enabled services.
  • Domain expertise in at least one of: water management / Legionella risk management, healthcare compliance, environment of care / facilities compliance, or healthcare technology. Direct Water Management Program (ASHRAE 188/514) experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear requirements and work directly with software development teams.
  • Experience with product and project management tooling (Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Aha!, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, and willingness to occasionally present to external audiences.

Preferred: Experience at a company that transitioned from a people-driven service model to a tech-enabled or SaaS delivery model; familiarity with healthcare facility operations or CMMS/work order systems; experience owning pricing or packaging for a service or platform offering; and hands-on experience using AI tools to drive efficiency in product work.
