Job description

This is a temporary position, estimated for approximately 3 months, at 30 hours per week.

The Partner Success Manager plays a central role within our agency, blending partner-facing program execution with the tools, training, and resources that empower our sales team to grow revenue. This position bridges the gap between marketing, product, editorial, and sales, ensuring alignment on strategy, process, and content while fostering strong relationships with a diverse client base.

Essential Functions

Relationship Management

  • Support and nurture relationships with our client, their partners and sales executives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, delivering exceptional service and advice.

Marketing and Sales Initiatives

  • Manage Sponsored Content campaigns, including client communications, campaign buildouts, promotional efforts, metrics analysis, and client reporting.

Sales Enablement and Collateral

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create, organize, and optimize sales collateral (presentations, case studies, brochures, and brand materials) and ensure accessibility via CRM and sales enablement platforms.
  • Partner with editorial and project management teams to align sales strategies with product updates and publishing trends.

Digital Marketing Operations

  • Oversee monthly trafficking of print materials and digital assets for Independent Banker magazine, ICBA newsletters, the website, webinars, etc.
  • Manage Google Ad Manager (GAM) for digital material staging and ad placements.
  • Coordinate newsletter advertisements, proofing, approvals, troubleshooting, and metrics reporting.

Competencies

  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools (HubSpot, Magazine Manager) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in advertising best practices, digital media platforms, and industry terminology.
  • Proficient in data analytics and performance reporting to drive strategy decisions.
  • Ability to train, support, and coach team members in technology adoption and sales processes.
  • Knowledge of publishing industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Forward-thinking and resourceful, with a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions.
  • An eye for design and visual branding consistency.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools in sales workflows is a plus.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communications, marketing, strategic communications, business, or a related field, along with demonstrated professional experience in content, communications, marketing, or project management.
  • Three or more years of experience in marketing communications, digital media, sales enablement, sales operations, or a closely related role.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales enablement technologies, such as HubSpot and Magazine Manager.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress), project management tools (Trello), and creative platforms (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a hybrid office environment with a mix of in-office and remote flexibility, depending on company policies.
  • Regular interaction with team members and clients across multiple departments and time zones.
