Position Summary

The College of Education and Human Sciences (COEHS) Dean's Office is seeking 1-2 candidates for the part-time position of Student Office Assistant. This position will provide administrative and office support of the general, day-to-day administrative, operational, and clerical tasks related to the office:
  • Greet all visitors warmly, politely, and professionally.
  • Answer phone calls received at the Dean's Office, taking messages or transferring as needed.
  • Assist with administrative work as needed; this may include maintaining spreadsheets, filing documents, copying or scanning documents, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining office inventory.
  • Assist with special events, including creating flyers and sending out save-the-dates.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office (wipe down tables and surfaces, organize supply cabinets).
  • Run errands across COEHS/campus to deliver documents/materials and acquire supplies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Familiar with COEHS departments and program offerings.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Express)
