Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, we operate nine sawmills in Western Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and import/export division.

This position's primary function is to keep the facility clean, safe, and operational. This is a part-time position, 36 hours a week.

Work Schedule: Friday-Sunday (12:00pm - 12:30am) Flexible as needed.

Wage is $25.94 per hour, as well as an additional $1.75 shift differential, overtime and production bonuses. Production bonuses are possible for every employee each month, based on the plant site's target goals.

  • Pick up slabs, sticks, sawdust, and chips off lower mill floors
  • Assist with dust mitigation
  • Maintain a safe environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe

  • Completion of high-school or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Sawmill experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
  • Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis
  • Must be willing to learn new skills
  • Be a team player and self-starter
