Now Hiring: Temporary General Labor / Event Cleanup Crew
Location: Midland, Texas
Date: July 25, 2026, and July 26, 2026
Position Summary
  • The General Labor / Event Cleanup Crew is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout and following the Event.
  • This position requires individuals who are dependable, physically fit, and capable of performing strenuous manual labor for extended periods.
  • Team members will assist with all aspects of event cleanup, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and general labor duties as assigned by event supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sweep and clean spectator stands, walkways, and common areas.
  • Pick up trash and debris throughout the event grounds, parking areas, and spectator seating areas.
  • Empty trash cans, dumpsters, and waste receptacles as needed.
  • Transport collected trash and debris to designated dumpsters and disposal locations.
  • Remove litter from the ground, grassy areas, sidewalks, vendor areas, and event facilities.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
  • Restock restroom supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of concession areas, entrances, exits, and gathering spaces.
  • Assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures and directions from supervisors.
  • Perform all additional duties assigned by management to ensure successful event cleanup and restoration of the venue.
Physical Requirements
  • This is a highly physical position and requires employees to:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, often 8–12 hours or longer.
  • Frequently bend, squat, kneel, stoop, twist, and reach.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme West Texas heat, sun, dust, and wind.
  • Wear appropriate work attire, including closed-toe work boots and any required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Prior general labor, janitorial, event cleanup, or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work safely while performing physical labor.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the event location.
Working Conditions
  • Outdoor and indoor work environments.
  • Exposure to heat, dust, noise, and large crowds.
  • Extended periods of physical activity with limited sitting.
