As the Grass Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of landscapers focused on maintaining and beautifying lawns. You will lead by example, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction on every job. Your role will involve following a scope of work provided on our scheduling app, managing the day-to-day operations of the grass crew, training new team members, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. By working side by side with your crew, you’ll promote a strong sense of teamwork, efficiency, and pride in every job completed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in grass care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and used safely, and that team members follow all safety protocols.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and support to team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Communicate with clients on-site as needed, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Monitor and track crew performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure continued improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of job status, work hours, and any issues to management.
  • Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
