Nine Tailed Fox - Orinda

Orinda, CA • On-site

$16.90 - $20/hr

Part-time

This job post has expired 1 day ago. Applications are no longer accepted.

Job description

Who We Are: We’re Nine Tailed Fox in Orinda. An independent, locally-owned boba shop and arcade. You won't find any cookie-cutter franchise vibes here. We focus on making unique, top-tier boba drinks in a high-energy space. It gets loud, the pace is incredibly fast, and if you you are looking for a rewarding and fun place to work, this is the spot!

The Schedule (Read This First): Let’s save us both some time. We are strictly hiring for someone to work the daytime/early afternoon shifts long-term. You must be available to work mornings and early afternoons through the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons. If you are a student going back to daytime classes in August, we love you, but this specific gig is not for you.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

  • Making Drinks: Prepping boba, brewing tea, and moving fast behind the bar when the rush hits.
  • Running the Arcade: Selling tokens, fixing the occasional jammed claw machine, and making sure the floor stays fun.
  • Keeping it Clean: We don't mess around with cleanliness. You’ll be wiping down prep stations, cleaning equipment, and keeping the shop looking sharp.

What We Need From You:

  • Hustle: You need to be able to pivot from making a complicated drink to helping a customer on the arcade floor without losing your cool.
  • Good Vibes: Leave the drama at home. We work closely together, so being easy to work with is mandatory.
  • No other prerequisites are needed!

Work Location: In person
