Job description

Electromechanical Field Technician — ATMs & Coin‑Op Amusements

Picture your day: you start with a route plan, load the company vehicle, and head out to revive an ATM with a finicky card reader. By noon, you’re swapping a bill validator in a claw machine, then pushing a firmware update on a kiosk. You finish by restocking supplies, logging your work, and checking in with the next location. If you thrive on independence, hands‑on problem solving, and variety, this role is for you.

What you’ll take on
  • Install, configure, and commission ATMs and amusement/arcade machines at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues to keep equipment online.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Replace and calibrate components including bill validators, card readers, monitors, wiring, buttons, and related parts.
  • Apply software and firmware updates as required.
  • Restock and service machines during routine visits.
  • Deliver professional, courteous service while coordinating with clients and internal teams.
Who succeeds here
  • Valid Class E driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong problem solver with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams (a plus).
  • Experience with arcade games, vending machines, kiosks, ATMs, or comparable equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in the field.
Physical demands
  • Lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, ladder use, and work in tight spaces.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday.
  • One weekend every 3–4 weeks.
  • Emergency on‑call rotation 1–2 days per week.
  • Occasional overnight travel.
Compensation & benefits
  • $20–$22/hour, based on experience.
  • Company vehicle provided.
  • Profit sharing.
  • 401(k).
  • Health insurance.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Twice‑yearly bonus opportunities.
Why you’ll enjoy it
  • Autonomy in the field—no desk required.
  • Constant variety with new equipment and challenges each day.
  • Company vehicle for work assignments.
  • Grow practical skills in electronics, mechanical repair, and customer service.
  • Stable role with advancement potential and strong benefits.
