Position at MacAllister Machinery
Position Summary
Maintain and run classic road and race cars ranging from years' 1910 through 1970 supporting outside of MacAllister business. Position is responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from maintaining, repairing, and restoring vintage race cars, motorcycles, and trucks.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and prepare 11-12 Historic Race cars for use at 5-7 events annually.
  • Support race cars at race events in the US and overseas.
  • Support Classic cars on road rallies as needed.
  • Restore, repair, and maintain 100 plus motorcycles.
  • Maintain 60 plus Vintage cars in collection.
  • Maintain, repair and clean all Classic seasonal driving cars.
  • Clean and check all everyday road cars.
  • Maintain workshop in a clean and tidy Manner.
Position Requirements
  • 10 years of experience working on automobiles.
  • Experience in racing at a high level
  • Classic/Vintage car repair experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Other Requirements:
  • Work with others as a team.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Be able to work on one's own.
  • Be professional and presentable when representing the company.
  • To always work to a precise and high standard.
  • To be forward thinking and conscientious.
  • Be able to make decisions.
  • Work in a clean and tidy manner and keep the workshop clean and organized at all times.
