Labcorp is a global leader in healthcare diagnostic and research advancement! They are adding to their sample management team at the Greenfield facility. The sample management team is an integral part of LabCorp's overall function. These team members will be inspecting, receiving, and routing all incoming client specimens. At this time, the new project demand requires the following: The Sample Handling Assistant is accountable for handling, processing, and storing irreplaceable biological samples that support scientific research. As a Sample Handling Assistant, you will: • Ensure all samples are maintained in the appropriate environment during sample handling, processing, and storage to preserve their biological viability • Receive inbound shipments and track samples prior to registration • Register samples received at the Biorepository into various inventory management systems • Retrieve samples from storage and package/ship them to various global testing laboratories • Retrieve samples from storage and complete disposal process as requested • Perform de-identification procedures on samples in order to remove the traceability to the patient • Perform aliquoting procedures on samples as needed • Consolidate samples in storage as needed • Support other sample management departments on the Greenfield campus • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform all departmental and inter-departmental SOP’s as written

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
