Job description

A regional civil engineering firm located in State College, PA is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil engineering experience. While not a remote position, this in-person role offers flexibility for work/life balance within an 'informal' office culture. Job Responsibilities: Develop plans to include details and specifications suitable for submittal of permit applications (post construction stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, land development and NPDES); Produce designs/calculations, complete plans and permit applications and coordinate with reviewing agencies; Assist the project director by providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal, design, permitting and construction phases for the development of athletic facilities; Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineering (PE) License eligible; Experience/working knowledge of basic design principles for grading, calculation of slopes & grades, and site construction materials and methods; Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D. #IND
