Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Citrix Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and management of our global Citrix infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading engineering efforts across both on-premises and Azure-hosted environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).

The ideal candidate will bring:

Expert-level knowledge of Citrix technologies, including Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler ADC, and Citrix Cloud.

Strong experience with Azure-hosted VDI solutions, including Windows 11 image management and integration with Nutanix and VMware platforms.

Advanced scripting and troubleshooting skills, particularly in PowerShell, with a proactive mindset for automation and root cause analysis.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role that requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler ADC, StoreFront, and Citrix Cloud control plane across hybrid environments.

Lead the implementation and management of VDI solutions hosted in Azure, including Windows 11 image provisioning and updates.

Architect and administer multi-site, multi-zone Citrix environments supporting active/active topology.

Manage system and user configurations across large, distributed enterprise environments.

Oversee peripheral technologies including Nutanix, VMware, Thin Clients, and endpoint devices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new technologies, manage migrations, and support deployments.

Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex issues within the End User Services environment.

Utilize automation and scripting (PowerShell) to streamline operations and routine tasks.

Maintain and update technical documentation, including system designs, engineering plans, and presentation materials.

Monitor and analyze system performance, proactively identifying and escalating incidents and problems.

Ensure integration and compatibility with Digital Workspace tools such as Microsoft 365, Box, Zoom, and Teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $90.00/hr.
