As a Field Solution Architect II, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping translate complex business challenges into scalable, high-impact solutions. Leveraging your expertise in data center infrastructure, servers, virtualization, and automation technologies-particularly Red Hat solutions-you will design and deliver architectures that drive real business outcomes.
This is a highly visible, partner-facing role where you'll collaborate across teams, influence solution strategy, and directly contribute to partner growth and customer success. What You'll Do
In this dynamic, field-facing role, you will:
  • Design & Architect Solutions
    • Translate customer requirements into scalable, multi-vendor solutions aligned to business objectives
    • Develop architectures using Red Hat virtualization and automation technologies, along with broader data center solutions
  • Support Pre-Sales & Partner Success
    • Lead technical discussions around product capabilities, sizing, deployment, and integration
    • Contribute to RFIs/RFPs by defining solution strategies and clarifying requirements
    • Help partners differentiate their offerings and accelerate time-to-value
  • Deliver Technical Expertise
    • Build and present compelling demos, proof-of-concepts, and custom use-case demonstrations
    • Provide technical training and enablement sessions for partners and customers
    • Participate in executive briefings, industry events, and technical workshops
  • Drive Collaboration & Innovation
    • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and solution centers to enhance offerings
    • Contribute to demo environments and continuously improve technical assets
    • Stay current on emerging technologies and share insights across the organization
  • Troubleshoot & Escalate
    • Investigate complex technical issues and support escalations with hands-on analysis
    • Partner with engineering teams to resolve challenges and improve solutions
What We're Looking For
Experience & Technical Expertise
  • 5-8 years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting
  • Strong knowledge of data center technologies, servers, virtualization, and automation platforms
  • Demonstrated expertise in Red Hat Virtualization and Automation (preferred)
  • Proven experience designing and supporting multi-vendor technology solutions
  • Advanced certifications across relevant technologies or vendors

Communication & Influence
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Skilled at building relationships and collaborating across diverse teams and partners
