Job Title: Senior Citrix Engineer

Location: Lawrenceville, GA (onsite)

Duration: Full-time

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Engineer with strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-scale Citrix environments while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
Administer and support Citrix ADC (NetScaler) for load balancing, secure access, and application delivery.
Configure and maintain Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, and Studio components.
Manage and optimize Active Directory integration, including authentication and user policies.
Create, deploy, and manage Group Policies (GPOs) for Citrix environments.
Implement and support Azure-based Citrix deployments (Citrix DaaS / Cloud).
Monitor Citrix infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues related to user sessions, connectivity, and application delivery.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
Optimize system performance through capacity planning, tuning, and upgrades.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including MFA, SSL/TLS, and access controls.
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams for seamless integration.
Provide L2/L3 support and root cause analysis for incidents.
Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and architecture.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with:

Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop (CVAD)
Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
Microsoft Active Directory
Group Policy Management
Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)


Hands-on experience with Azure (IaaS / PaaS / Citrix Cloud)
Knowledge of authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML, MFA)
Experience in load balancing and SSL certificate management
Good understanding of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
