iboss is seeking an experienced and customer-facing Field Chief Information Security Officer, Field CISO to serve as a trusted security advisor to prospects, customers, and partners. This role bridges deep cybersecurity expertise with business acumen and sales enablement. The Field CISO will support enterprise sales engagements, articulate iboss security vision, influence buying decisions, and provide strategic guidance on modern Zero Trust, SSE, and cloud security architectures.
As a senior evangelist for iboss, the Field CISO will engage with CISOs, CIOs, IT leaders, and executives, helping them understand how iboss solves real-world security challenges while aligning to their business, risk, and compliance objectives. Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior security advisor in strategic sales opportunities, supporting enterprise and MSP-led engagements.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Product teams to drive deal strategy, executive alignment, and technical validation.
  • Lead executive-level discussions with CISOs, CIOs, and security leaders on Zero Trust, SSE, SASE, cloud security, and threat landscapes.
  • Represent iboss as a security thought leader at conferences, webinars, customer events, and partner forums.
  • Participate in customer meetings, QBRs, security reviews, and executive briefings.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, whitepapers, and point-of-view content on modern security architectures and trends.
  • Stay current on emerging threats, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to inform iboss strategy and messaging.
  • Enable sales teams with security messaging, executive-level narratives, and objection-handling strategies.
  • Mentor Solutions Engineers and sales leaders on security strategy, executive communication, and deal execution.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security leadership, or related roles.
  • Prior experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, Security Architect, or senior security leader strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, SSE/SASE, cloud security, network security, identity, and endpoint security.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles or acting in a customer-facing advisory role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% as needed to support customers, prospects, partners, and events.
